The way I organize everything I do is i tend to keep everything grouped, like I will keep a folder/binder for each class I am in. I also make mental notes about each specific class I have to do some homework for, and I keep all of the homework in a specific spot so that I won't lose it.
Procrastination hurts in lots of different ways, probably the most common thing it hurts is your grade. It also hurts things like your free time, and your grade point average. It hurts your free time because when you put things off, you have to spend time that would otherwise be spent however you would like, scrambling to complete homework and projects. The way it hurts your grade is when you put it off till the last minute, you rush and make mistakes just so that you can do it and turn it in on time, but when you take care of stuff early you aren't rushed, and you can make sure to take it slowly so that you do your absolute best on it.
I have always been really bad about procrastinating, for instance if I have an essay to type, I almost always end up doing it the night before its due. There are different ways that I have found that can help you with your procrastination problems, one of my favorites is reward yourself for doing work early. Like if you have spare money, buy yourself a drink for finishing your work, but only if you finish your work. Another way is you could tell the people around you to help remind you about what you have to do, so that its always on your mind that you must do the work.
I think those are some effective methods, especially the rewarding yourself method.
ReplyDeleteYour methods to stop procrastination would really help! Rewarding yourself is something everyone would look forward to after working.
ReplyDeleteRewarding yourself is a very good idea. It helps encourage you to do your work and you can get it done early.
ReplyDeleteObviously procrastination hurts your grade but it also could ruin your class rank and GPA in the end. Also it creates a bad habit that is hard to break.
